I love Chipotle! My personal opinion is that Chipotle's burritos have a lot more flavor then their competitors. I have been to multiple locations and this location gives out the largest helpings in the metro. Chipotle like most other build a burrito stores gives you your choices. You get to choose between the different meats chicken, steak, pork. You choose the rice brown or white. You choose the salsa hot, medium, mild, corn. You choose the extra toppings cheese, pico de gayo and so on. If you are going to pick a build a burrito store to go to I definitely recommend Chipotle.

I love Chipotle! This location, similar to many others I've been to, has very fun and friendly staff. I have yet to visit a Chipotle that I don't like. The high standards and reasonable prices can't be beat!

Chipotle is my other go-to, healthier, quick food restaurant (besides Jimmy Johns). It is a great place to get Mexican on the go that is tasty and healthier. Chipotle's corporate policy is that they do not use GMO food and most of the meat is organically raised! I can definitely tell the difference because their meat is great. Here are the meat options for their entrées: steak, chicken (which has a little spice to it), barbacoa (shredded, marinated, spicy steak), and carnitas (shredded, seasoned pork). Chipotle is also vegetarian and vegan friendly!!! They serve organic tofu call sofritas. Also, all of their tortillas, salsa, and chips are vegan!! Here is more info from their website: "Our Sofritas is vegan and vegetarian approved. Vegans should avoid our meats, cheese, sour cream and our chipotle-honey vinaigrette. Our tortillas, vegetables, rice, beans, salsas, chips and guacamole, are vegetarian and vegan. If you eat dairy, our cheese is made with vegetable-based rennet and our sour cream is 100% cultured cream." Here is the website explaining the allergens and special diet list: chipotle.com/allergens If you don't want a traditional burrito wrapped in a tortilla, you can get a burrito bowl that has all of the ingredients served over rice in a bowl. If you don't want rice, you can get a burrito salad that replaces rice with Romain lettuce. I usually get the bowl for my to-go orders because the tortilla gets a little soggy when it's wrapped up. Overall, a very tasty place for fast, healthier Mexican food!

Let's be real, I love chipotle. I love their values and their truly all natural ingredients. I haven't had any problems with this location, the staff is always friendly and the food quality is consistent. Much bigger location than the other chipotle here in Des Moines at Valley West Mall.

This was my first experience with Chipotle Mexican Grill. As is usual with national franchise fast food joints the company's advertising --all ¨natural ingredients,¨ no GMOs-- does not translate into exciting eats. Personally I could have bought a larger, more filling burrito at the regional chain, Abalardo's for a lot less money.

Ehhhh. Ordered a carnitas burrito. I got the last serving left and it was mixed with bell peppers and onions and real fatty meat. Then while eating my burrito I found a bay leaf in it while eating it. Awesome! Wouldn't come back. Dirty inside. Tables weren't being cleaned. See pictures for my bay leaf.

This may be a biased review because Chipotle is my favorite burrito restaurant of all time. No other establishment comes close to their burrito quality. I have had Pancheros, Qdoba, Fighting Burrito, etc and they are not as satisfying to me as Chipotle. I first had Chipotle in college and have always went back ever since. Their guac is amazing and the competition can't even compare in quality. I have been to this location multiple times and will continue to come here!

Not only is this location my go-to Chipotle, its become my number 1 choice for whenever I crave Mexican. Local competitor Abelardos had a pretty steep price increase and believe it or not now runs you more than the fair 6.50 that gets you admission at this establishment. Chipotle simply can not be beat in terms of portion, quality of ingredients, and price. This location unlike the one in my home town does not throw down skimpy portions. Some of the bowls that I have taken home have been enormous. Sometimes I eat 1/2 for dinner and 1/2 for breakfast. You can taste that the meats have minimal fat and are of a higher quality when compared to Abelardos and Fernandos. Many of them are organic or raised at a higher standard than conventional meat. They pull off little things that show care going in to the food, such as the steak actually coming in at a true med-rare. Sometimes I make things healthy with options like brown rice, fajita veggies, and a salad configuration (which gets kinda watery). Staff is attentive and does an admiral job dealing with rushes. Cons: They stopped offering limes, only lemons Guac upgrade is too expensive (but all other salsas are free) Pulled pork is still out as of early feb and I miss it.

I like this place a lot. I know the food is really simple here, but I love the company's values and hope that in the future more chains will follow suit. The staff is always friendly and they actually act like they enjoy working there... which is hard to find in a chain restaurant/fast food joint. I also like that their furniture is all made of recycled materials.

Probably the nicest chipotle people I have ever met. Not just one but all of them were friendly:) I am definitely a chipotle fan

Uninspired. Food like every other fast food Mexican joint. Staff not the friendliest, and hustled you. Music loud.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
